Our company is headquartered in the Ampelotopoi area of Omorfοchori, Larissa, in privately owned facilities. Our offices are housed in a 250 sq.m. building, and the processing facilities cover an area of approximately 55,000 sq.m., where distinct units have been established for each material or waste category to ensure proper management. In total, the company owns an area of approximately 200,000 used for the storage and management of materials. The company’s development aligns with European standards and, consequently, it is equipped with the appropriate mechanical equipment for the proper processing of recyclable materials and holds all the necessary licenses for the collection and transportation of materials. The company’s workforce exceeds 40 individuals, not including external partners, and is highly specialized to handle any project.
FLOROU BROS SA is also active in the field of public works, participating in public tenders and undertaking the execution of large projects across the country through its organized department for monitoring proclamations. Our clientele includes major companies and steel industries in the country, such as: SOVEL SA (a subsidiary of SIDENOR), Halyvourgia Athinon, as well as a large number of private enterprises in our supplier list, such as: Intrakat, Del Monte, Exalco SA, Epirus Dairy Industry, Nomikos AVEK, among others. Following our participation in auctions, our suppliers also include municipalities, the Air Force, Hellenic Defense Systems, Customs, DEI (DEDDIE, ADMIE), Port Authorities, OSE – TRAINOSE, from whom we procure raw materials (scrap). Additionally, we undertake projects involving building demolitions, cleaning services, and all kinds of work that fall within our activities.
Indicatively, the company manages annually:
• 50 tons of used electric cells and accumulators.
• 4,500 vehicles.
• 30,000 tons of ferrous metals.
• 6,000 tons of other materials (aluminum, plastic, paper, etc.).
• 250 tons of electrical and electronic items.
