The SIVITANIDIOS SCHOOL, a bequest of Vassilios Sivitanidis, was founded in 1926 and was organized according to the standards of corresponding European schools, mainly the famous Parisian Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers at that time. It continuously trains craftsmen and professionals from the entire range of production activities.

Today, three morning and one evening Vocational High School (EPAL), School of Initial Vocational Training (SAEK) and Lifelong Learning Center (KEDIVIM) operate in SIVITANIDIOS SCHOOL, in the context of supporting both vocational education and initial and continuing training respectively. The LABORATORY CENTER includes all areas of Vocational Education in Greece:

• Health – Welfare – Wellness
• Electricity, Electronics and Automation
• Administration and Finance
• Information Technology
• Mechanical Engineering
• Maritime Professions
• Structural Projects, Built Environment and Architectural Design
• Applied Arts.
It includes 36 Guidance Laboratories and supports the education and training of pupils and students from 24 EPAL specialties, 7 EPAL Apprenticeship Departments and 31 SAEK specialties, as well as the short-term training programs of KEDIVIM. In total, more than 2,000 students are being trained, in addition to the participants in the lifelong learning programs of KEDIVIM.
